A simple why ?

You ask yourself how a company owner from a tool & die shop gets the idea to develop a putter? What are the background reasons? What personal motivation was behind it? Many questions which are not easy to answer in one sentence. We will try to answer these questions with some background knowledge: W. Kramski started playing golf in 1987 when the first golf club opened in Pforzheim. The first putter W. Kramski bought was a used one.

An old and worn putter which had a great grip and he loved to play with it. With better results on the course, new putters were bought and played. Nearly every year he bought a new putter - in Singapore, Dubai, Japan, Portugal, at every Pro-Shop he tested putters; and if he was conviced that the putter was better than his current one, he bought the new one. He bought them, he won them in competitions, he received them as gifts - but none of those putters really satisfied him. He was never really happy, especially when he started to wear bifocals. The opposite happened and this became one of the major reasons to look very intensely into these problems.

The idea was born.

With his great experience from tooling and the knowledge to use the most modern 3D CAD technology and high tech machines, the putter was developed in various stages. Under very close study of the Rules of Golf, along with consultations with friends and club professionals with low handicaps, it took more than 2 ½ years to develop the HPP 330. More than 8 development stages were neccesary to present the first Kramski Putter in the form shown here.
